The Year 11 Performing Arts Group will be presenting a showcase performance of Nightmares of Doomed Youth on Tuesday May 3rd at 7.30 p.m. in the Main Hall of the College.
The students have been preparing this showcase as part of their ongoing work towards their GCSE. It is an opportunity to display how their performance skills have developed during the course.
The script for Nightmares for Doomed Youth has been developed from the brief the students received from the examination board. It covers the effects of shell shock on soldiers of World War 1 and the relationship between Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon during their treatment.
Tickets are free but donations will go to The Red Cross which provides aid and emergency response to those who are in dire suffering.
